Trainee Graphic Design

We are an Australian-owned apparel manufacturing company located in Biyagama EPZ. We seeking a highly creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our team sublimation unit. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs for a variety of apparel products, including t-shirts, sweatshirts, and athletic wear. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to create visually appealing designs, as well as experience working in the fashion industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop visually appealing design ideas for a variety of apparel products
- Create original artwork and graphics for use on t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel products
- Use design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to bring designs to life
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and preferences and incorporate feedback into designs
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into design work
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time
Requirements
- Degree Qualifications Graphic Design or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in the fashion industry is a plus
