Elegant Knitting international Pvt Ltd at Biyagama is an Australian owned leading apparel manufacturer with a strong global presence. Due to our rapid expansion, we’re on the lookout for a dedicated Finishing/Packing Manager to join our Team!
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing finishing/packing process based on given shipment plans
- Monitoring and adjusting schedules as needed to improve productivity
- To provide a variety of small orders in their right quantities and at the right time as per the delivery plan
- Lead and manage a team of staff and associates
- Reduce number of stock (WIP) in the warehouse
- Monitoring packing standards adhering to quality-control procedures
- Monitoring shipment & packing status through ERP system
- Liaising with different departments as and when needed
- Ensure all shipments are completed on time and the shipment schedule is met at all times
- Ensuring that health and safety standards are met within the department
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in a relevant field.
- 4-5 years of proven experience in a similar capacity within apparel industry.
- High level of skill in achieving targets in product finishing process in line with time and action plan.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
