Human Resource Manager
you will be responsible for recruiting, training and developing our rapidly growing workforce
We are a fast growing company seeking a highly organized Human Resource Manager to join our team at our Australian-owned sweater manufacturing business located in Biyagama EPZ. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, training and developing our rapidly growing workforce
Responsibilities
i) Implement best practice recruitment and selection processes and systems
ii) Development of employees through the administration of training and development programmes
iii) Ensure company compliance with Sedex, legal and statutory regulations.
iv) Looking after the welfare of Employees through Health and Safety programmes
v) Managing staff benefits including payroll processing, canteen arrangements, transport and monthly employee welfare activities.
vi) Maintaining employee wellbeing though employee liaison and counselling
vii) Implement and maintain employee performance management systems
Requirements
i) 5 years experience in similar role with garment industry exposure
ii) Tertiary qualifications in the field of Human Resource Management
iii) Strong understanding of labour laws
iv) Experience with social compliance and certification processes
