Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are seeking a skilled and organized bookkeeper to join our team at Biyagama EPZ.  The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general bookkeeping principles and experience with financial software.\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including reconciling bank statements, preparing invoices, and tracking expenses. You will also be responsible for creating financial reports and assisting with the preparation of tax documents.

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including reconciling bank statements, preparing invoices, and tracking expenses
  • \n
  • Create financial reports and assist with the preparation of tax documents
  • \n
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
  • \n
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into financial software
  • \n
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
  • \n
  • Perform general office tasks, such as answering phones and responding to emails
  • \n

Requirements

    \n
  • A qualification in accounting or a related field preferred
  • \n
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • \n
  • Proficiency with financial software, such as especially Xero, but QuickBooks is also advantageous
  • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • \n
  • Experience with payroll processing a plus
  • \n
