HR & Compliance Executive

Elegant Knitting international Pvt Ltd at Biyagama is a leading apparel manufacturer with a global presence. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR & Compliance Executive to ensure our operations align with industry regulations, buyer requirements, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards.
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Monitor and implement compliance with local labor laws, buyer codes of
conduct, and international standards (e.g., SMETA, GOTS).
· Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of
non-conformities.
· Develop and conduct compliance training programs for employees.
· Maintain documentation and records related to compliance, health &
safety, and social accountability.
· Collaborate with HR, Production, and other departments to promote a
compliant and ethical workplace.
· Communicate with the labor department when necessary
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma/Degree in HR, Management, or related field.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance role in the apparel
sector.
· Sound knowledge of labor regulations, compliance audit requirements,
and ethical manufacturing practices.
· Good communication skills in English and Sinhala /Tamil.
· Strong organizational and documentation skills.
