We are a rapidly growing Australian-owned apparel manufacturer located in Biyagama EPZ.  Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to excel in your career in procurement?

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement processes.
  • Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers, comparing prices, and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency in the supply chain.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Assisting in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas to the procurement process.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:  
  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 4-5 years of proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a keen eye for detail.
