Accounts Executive

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our growing team at Elegant Knitting international Pvt Ltd at Biyagama. We are an Australian owned leading apparel manufacturer with a strong global presence. Due to our rapid expansion, we’re on the lookout for a highly motivated Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team!
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Management with daily operations of the accounting department.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or/and part qualification in professional accounting body such as CA, CIMA, ACCA or AAT.
- Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- BOI related experience is an added advantage
